What is estimated by AI
Two things are produced with an AI model (Claude), always applied the same way everywhere:
- What each roll call, law and executive order does to personal freedom, which feeds the libertarian–authoritarian axis. Procedural and purely economic items are left out.
- Placements read from the opening of a Wikipedia article, for politicians with no votes, party or election record. Their profile says so.
Party and ideology positions are Polimap's own mapping of each ideology onto the compass. A placement is a summary of the record, not a verdict.
